Autosalon Motor Show 2016 Opens in Bratislava

Bratislava, April 19 (TASR) – Two European and more than 70 Slovak exhibition premieres await visitors to this year’s Autosalon motor show, which opened at Incheba Exhibition Centre in Bratislava on Tuesday, TASR learnt on the same day.Dozens of exhibitors representing the world’s major carmakers and brands will showcase their new models, which were unveiled a few days ago at a prestigious car show in Geneva, Switzerland. The number of brands as well as exhibition premieres indicate that this year will be one of the most impressive in the history of the event.

The European premieres feature two models: sports car GT-R M17 (Nissan), which was transported to Bratislava from New York after its world premiere last month, and the latest generation of the luxury SUV Grand Santa Fe (Hyundai).

Also included at the motor show is a specialised Exclusive Salon section, exhibiting not only luxury limousines but also pricey sports cars.

Apart from a wide automobile showcase, the event features an accompanying programme wherein the performance of vehicles can be experienced during test drives .

Autosalon runs until Sunday (April 24). Today is reserved for journalists.
