Pociatek Gives Up Seat in Parliament; To Be Replaced by Nemky

Bratislava, April 18 (TASR) – Former transport minister Jan Pociatek (Smer-SD) is giving up his mandate in Parliament and should be replaced by Martin Nemky, Dennik N daily reported on Monday.

There were some speculation about Pociatek becoming chief of gas utility SPP, however, he has denied all thoughts on this for TASR.

Nemky, number 67 on the party slate, will attend Monday’s Parliament session as a replacement member along with others, who will sit in Parliament for current ministers and secretaries of state.

Parliament is scheduled to deal with the Government Manifesto, which Robert Fico’s Cabinet will seek a vote of confidence through.
