Siet Nominates Brecely for Post of Transport Minister

Bratislava, March 21 (TASR) – The post of transport, construction and regional development minister should be occupied by Siet (Network) party nominee Roman Brecely, said the party at a press conference in Bratislava on Monday.

Brecely was proposed for the post by Siet leader Radoslav Prochazka. He accepted the nomination after approval from the party’s presidency. “I’ve accepted this post because it’s an expert position,” said Brecely, who is the party’s expert on power engineering and has held various managerial posts in the past.

Regional development was one of the pivotal topics in Siet’s election campaign, and it now wants to show its competence in the sector.

Siet has also nominated its vice-chair Andrej Hrnciar for the post of parliamentary vice-chair. Siet should also be given three posts of state secretaries at the ministries of defence, agriculture and, most likely, culture.
