Speedway Rider Vaculik Triumphs in Poland's Grand Prix
Gorzow, August 26 (TASR) – Slovak motorcycle speedway rider Martin Vaculik won the Grand Prix of Poland in Gorzow on Saturday evening, adding a third triumph in the elite Grand Prix series.

Vaculik beat domestic hero Bartosz Zmarzlik, Tai Woffinden (UK) and another Pole Patryk Dudek in the final.
The Zarnovica-born racer won in Gorzow on his Speedway Grand Prix debut in 2012 and added his second victory last year in Slovenia. The 2018 season didn’t start well for Vaculik, as he badly injured his left ankle in April when he fell during a race on the British Isles. After a series of operations, he had to spend several weeks resting.
“I’m very happy. I’m very happy that I can now be 100-percent focused on racing and not on other stuff. I’m just enjoying the moment and enjoying my racing. My experience from this track paid off today. I’m very pleased about that,” said the winner.
