Bratislava/Brussels, July 24 (TASR) – The AeroMobil, a flying car from Slovakia that is among the exhibits via which Slovakia is promoting its Presidency of the Council of the EU in Brussels, has drawn the attention of US Secretary of State John Kerry and Saudi Arabian Foreign Affairs Minister Adel Al Jubeir, TASR learnt from the Slovak Foreign and European Affairs Ministry’s press department on Sunday.
According to information provided by the ministry, Kerry showed interest in the Slovak invention during recent talks with his EU counterparts. He stopped at the exhibit, which is showcased in the hall of the Council’s headquarters in the Justus Lipsius building in Brussels, and was curious to learn more about the AeroMobil.
Al Jubeir, who is currently participating in a meeting of EU ministers and the Gulf Cooperation Council, asked about particular parameters of the vehicle. He wanted to know how high it can fly and what speeds it’s able to reach. “He took from a Slovak diplomat a leaflet with detailed information on the AeroMobil and other exhibits that form part of the SK PRES visual presentation in Brussels,” stated the ministry’s press department.
