LSNS Distances Itself from Dusan S., Apprehended for Violent Criminal Activity

Bratislava, September 16 (TASR) – Far-right People’s Party Our Slovakia (LSNS) rejects any attempt to link the party with the three men apprehended over violent criminal activities by the National Criminal Agency (NAKA) on Thursday (September 13), TASR learnt on Sunday.

On Saturday (September 15), aktuality.sk website broke the news, pointing that brothers Michal and Dusan S. are allegedly affiliated with Nitra neo-Nazi scene and facing charges along with Vladimir B. over violent criminal activities. “One of them ran (for Parliament) on the slate of Kotleba’s (People’s Party Our Slovakia) and was involved with Nitra-based Walhala club, members of which attacked patrons of Mariatchi pub as seen in the infamous video,” wrote the website.

LSNS, however, distances itself from Dusan S. “All ties with apprehended Dusan S., who ran on the LSNS slate in 2010 (in the general election), have been severed and we bear no responsibility over his activities and life in the following period,” reads the press statement released by LSNS.

Furthermore, aktuality.sk pointed that the Specialised Criminal Court found Michal S. guilty of flying a red flag with swastika and a black flag with SS insignia at the terrace of a house in Nitra in May 2017.
