Food Stores to Be Closed on Sundays, Elderly to Have Priority Shopping Hours

Bratislava, March 24 (TASR) – Food stores, drugstores, newsstands and outlets selling food for pets will be closed on Sundays, Prime Minister Igor Matovic (OLaNO) announced on Tuesday, adding that Sundays will be used for a thorough cleaning of store premises, while outlet staff will be able to rest.

Meanwhile, special priority shopping hours will be set for elderly people of above 65 years of age – between 9-12 a.m. [Many stores had already introduced such hours themselves. – ed. note]
