Statistics Office: Inflation in Slovakia at 2.9 percent in September

Bratislava, October 14 (TASR) – Year-on-year inflation in Slovakia amounted to 2.9 percent in September, with core inflation standing at 2.6 percent and net inflation at 2 percent, the Slovak Statistics Office reported on Monday.

In September 2019 month-on-month cumulative inflation was influenced by core inflation by 0.19 percentage points (p.p.), while regulated prices had a negative impact of 0.06 p.p. Indirect taxes had no effect on cumulative inflation.

Food prices influenced core inflation by 0.06 p.p. and net inflation had an impact of 0.13 p.p. on core inflation.
