Fico and Bugar: First Talks Show No Obstacles for Further Debate

Bratislava, March 13 (TASR) – Smer-SD and Most-Hid are interested in continuing in talks on creating a stable Government, but their programme priorities for the possible Government Manifesto must be debated properly first, Prime Minister Robert Fico (Smer-SD) said Sunday evening.

Speaking after negotiations with Most-Hid chief Bela Bugar at Government Office, Fico said: “The first talks have shown that there aren’t such differences that would stop us from continuing the debate.” He added that a further round of talks will take place on Monday.

Bugar at the press conference confirmed that he, too, hasn’t found any obstacles that would prevent him from continuing in the talks. “We’ll talk more specifically on programme priorities on Monday,” he added.
