Fresh Newlyweds Vote during Wedding in Stary Smokovec

Stary Smokovec, March 5 (TASR) – In addition to pledging their love for each other, newly married couple Rusnakovci from Kosice cast their ballots for Saturday’s general election in Stary Smokovec (Presov region) in the High Tatra Mountains.

“We didn’t adjust date of our wedding to the Parliamentary election. It was a spontaneous decision, we only later found out that the election would be on the same day,” said bride Lucia. She added that the election added variety to their wedding. “Not only for us but also for our wedding guests,” she said.

Groom Stefan said he hopes his wife chose him for not just four years, but that it would be a longer period.
