Matovic Sets Up 'Bravely' Platform for Ordinary Christians

Bratislava, June 7 (TASR) – Head of the OLaNO movement Igor Matovic is setting up a platform called ‘Bravely’ with the aim of uniting Christian voters, TASR learnt on Friday.

“The aim isn’t to take voters away from the Christian Democratic Movement [KDH] or other Christian parties. On the contrary, I want to create space for those who can’t give their vote to those parties,” said Matovic, adding that the platform is supposed to bring together “brave people who consider themselves to be ordinary and imperfect Christians”.

He explained that the platform will be provided with half of OLaNO’s slate. According to Matovic, his party wants to give a chance to Christians who don’t want to vote for other parties to participate in the upcoming general election and “to bring about change in Slovakia”.
