Krajniak: Inflation Aid to Citizens in Need Should Reach €133 million
Bratislava, April 7 (TASR) – The state should provide inflation aid to Slovak citizens in material need totalling €133 million, Labour, Social Affairs and the Family Minister Milan Krajniak (We Are Family) announced at a news conference on Thursday.
The aid should be paid out by the end of June.

Bratislava, April 7 (TASR) – A total of 6,248 Ukrainian students have been placed in the Slovak education system since February 24, Education Minister Branislav Groehling (Freedom and Solidarity/SaS) told a news conference on Thursday.
Of the total, 4,892 Ukrainian students have been placed in primary schools, 618
Premier Heger to Leave for Kiev on Thursday
Bratislava, April 6 (TASR) – Prime Minister Eduard Heger (OLaNO) is set to leave for Kiev on Thursday (April 7) to meet Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The premier is due to travel with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.

TASR Clinches a Deal with Italian ANSA News Agency
Bratislava, April 6 (TASR) – The News Agency of the Slovak Republic (TASR) signed an agreement with the Italian ANSA news agency to enable the mutual use of each other’s news service in English and photographs.
It is TASR’s first-ever partnership agreement with the Italian news agency.

LSNS Chair Kotleba Receives Suspended Sentence of Six Months
Bratislava, April 5 (TASR) – The Supreme Court on Tuesday handed down a suspended sentence of six months with probation of 18 months to far-right People’s Party Our Slovakia chair Marian Kotleba for using neo-Nazi symbolism when issuing cheques worth €1,488.
The verdict is final and cannot be appealed
Doctors Trade Union Association Announces Strike Alert
