Officer from National Anti-corruption Unit Arrested for Corruption

Bratislava, June 13 (TASR) – The police’s internal affairs inspectorate, which comes directly under the Interior Ministry, on Wednesday arrested on suspicion of corruption a member of the Police Corps’ National Anti-corruption Unit, one officer from Bratislava II District Police Directorate and two civilians.

“It isn’t possible to provide further information, as the initial procedural actions are still being taken,” TASR was told by the Interior Ministry’s press department.

The Police Corps hasn’t commented on the incident.
