Hascak Wants All Gorilla Related Files Published
Bratislava, October 17 (TASR) – Penta co-owner Jaroslav Hascak on Thursday called on the law-enforcing authorities that investigate or oversee the Gorilla case to immediately publish the entire contents of the investigation files as well as all minutes, reports, expert analyses and other documentation concerning the case if the law allows them.
“It’s been promised for several years that they’ll be published. I agreed to it repeatedly and they still haven’t been published. After the so-called and alleged recordings related to the Gorilla case were published…the trust in the legality of the investigation can be restored only if the files are published,” Hascak stated, explaining that the published recordings probably originate from the investigation file and that they leaked to the public without being professionally assessed.
Hascak is of the opinion that publishing the files can’t practically influence witnesses or cause obstruction of justice when it’s taken into account that the facts which are being investigated are older than 13 years.
At the same, he asked the police to summon him for questioning as soon as possible, stating that he’s always co-operated with the investigation of the Gorilla case in which he’s legally considered a witness.
