New Railway Carrier Arriva Slovakia to Begin Operating Trains
Bratislava, February 26 (TASR) – A new passenger rail carrier is coming to Slovakia, private company Arriva Slovakia, which will start operating trains on March 5, railway administrator Slovak Railways (ZSR) informed TASR on Friday.
Arriva Slovakia will become the fourth carrier on the Slovak railway network, along with private firms RegioJet and Leo Express and the state-run ZSSK.
According to ZSR, Arriva Slovakia will operate a single pair of trains per week in both directions on the route between Prague-Vlarsky Prusmyk (Czech-Slovak border)-Trencin.
