Exit Polls: Liberal Caputova Likely to Become Slovakia's First-ever Female President

Bratislava, March 30 (TASR) – Liberal lawyer Zuzana Caputova was likely to become the first female president of Slovakia in the popular vote on Saturday, according to two exit polls made on behalf of the public-service Radio and Television Slovakia (RTVS) and TV Markiza, respectively.


Caputova in the exit poll for RTVS, carried out by Median SK agency, received 60.5 percent of the votes, while her rival Maros Sefcovic garnered only 39.5 percent.

Meanwhile, in the exit poll for Markiza, conducted by Focus agency, Caputova had 55.2 percent of the votes, while Sefcovic received 44.8 percent.
