Interior Minister Tomas Drucker Admitted into Hospital in Bratislava

Bratislava, April 12 (TASR) – Interior Minister Tomas Drucker (a Smer-SD nominee) was admitted into Bratislava’s Kramare Hospital on Thursday due to problems with a herniated cervical disc, TASR learnt from Bratislava University Hospital spokesperson Eva Kliska on the same day.

“The reason for [Drucker’s] admittance to hospital is a sudden worsening of his longstanding chronic troubles with a damaged cervical disc. Minister Tomas Drucker will remain in hospital for the time being,” said Kliska.

According to the ministry’s press department, Drucker’s health issues began on Wednesday (April 11), and there’s been no improvement even after intravenous treatment. Therefore, the rest of his itinerary for Thursday was cleared, and he’ll remain in hospital until further notice.
