Markiza Exit Poll: Smer Gets 27.3%, SaS Second on 13.3%

Bratislava, March 6 (TASR) – Prime Minister Robert Fico’s Smer-SD came first in the general election in Slovakia on Saturday on 27.3 percent, followed by Freedom and Solidarity (SaS) on 13.3 percent and OLaNO-NOVA on 11.2 percent, according to a TV Markiza exit poll.

The following parties have also made it into Parliament: Slovak National Party (SNS) – 8 percent, Most-Hid – 7.3 percent, Kotleba-People’s Party Our Slovakia – 6.8 percent, Siet – 6.7 percent, We Are Family-Boris Kollar – 5.9 percent, and the Christian Democrats (KDH) – 5 percent.

Translated into parliamentary seats, Smer-SD would get 45 MPs, SaS – 22, OLaNO-NOVA – 18, SNS – 13, Most-Hid – 12, Kotleba and Siet – 11 each, We Are Family-Boris Kollar – 10, and KDH – 8.
