Vrakuna to Become First Bratislava Borough to Ban Outdoor Advertising

Bratislava, February 3 (TAR) – The Bratislava borough of Vrakuna will become the Slovak capital’s first city part to remove completely outdoor advertisements, TASR learnt on Saturday.

“I’m preparing a ground-breaking proposal to be submitted at the local council to make Vrakuna the first and so far the only Bratislava borough free of any outdoor advertisement,” said Vrakuna mayor Martin Kuruc. He added that in a survey that he’s organised, people in Vrakuna told a clear ‘no’ to outdoor advertising.

“I sat down with my team to debate the introduction of a visible solution, not merely cosmetic changes,” stated Kuruc.
