The Voice-SD party will hold talks on post-election cooperation with anyone who invites it, its leader Peter Pellegrini told the media on Sunday.

The Progressive Slovakia (PS) party wants to do its utmost to ensure that the government is not formed by Smer-SD, although it does respect its victory in the general election, PS leader Michal Simecka told a news conference on Sunday.

The election moratorium in the snap general election in Slovakia will be extended by 40 minutes. It will last until 10:40 p.m. all over Slovakia, announced State Electoral Commission chair Ladislav Orosz.

Top three Slovak constitutional officials already cast their ballots in the snap general election on Saturday, with President Zuzana Caputova voting in Pezinok (Bratislava region) and Parliamentary Chair Boris Kollar and Premier Ludovit Odor in Bratislava.

The State Electoral Commission has received several motions regarding suspicions of violation of the election moratorium in connection with the snap general election, its chairman Ladislav Orosz announced on Saturday.

The fairness and transparency of the snap general election has been ensured, caretaker Premier Ludovit Odor said following his meeting with members of the State Electoral Commission on Saturday, adding that no problems have yet been reported in individual polling stations.
