Csefalvayova Leaving Most-Hid

Bratislava, September 16 (TASR) – MP Katarina Csefalvayova stated on Monday that she’s quitting the co-governing Most-Hid party and leaving the party caucus as well.

“After long deliberation, I’ve decided to quit Most-Hid,” said the MP, who stated before the summer that she would reconsider her political future.

“With regards to the nearing end of the coalition agreement, I’ve firmly decided not to connect my future with the Most-Hid party. The caucus and the party have ceased to be platforms that enable me to promote fully the values that matter to me,” said Csefalvayova.

Csefalvayova has offered her post as parliamentary foreign affairs committee chair to Most-Hid leader Bela Bugar. “However, he said that he continues to trust me as its chair,” she added.
