KDH Sees Fear of LSNS behind Refusal to Publish its Billboard

Bratislava, May 25 (TASR) – The extra-parliamentary Christian Democratic Movement (KDH) wanted to order a billboard featuring the slogan “[far-right] LSNS has been in Parliament already for one year, but it has not managed to do anything there”; however, its publishing has been refused, TASR learnt from KDH spokesman Stano Zupa on Thursday.

Zupa said that the Christian Democrats see either fear or collaboration with the LSNS party as being behind the refusal.

“3Dteam wanted to order a billboard in Banska Bystrica [where LSNS leader Marian Kotleba holds the post of regional governor-ed. note], we had agreed upon a choice of location, date and price with a mediator. However, after we sent them a visual, we received the answer that they refuse to publish it,” stated Zupa.

KDH claims that “we have never been that heroic in Slovakia”, but it’s surprising if we begin to be afraid of fascists, or even collaborate with them already at this stage.

“3Dteam will seek another way to publish the truth about LSNS’s functioning in Parliament. We believe that there still is a billboard owner in Slovakia who does not collaborate with fascists or is not afraid of them and will place the given visual on their advertising medium,” added Zupa.
