Poll: 69 percent of People Satisfied with Kiska's Performance

Bratislava, August 25 (TASR) – According to a poll carried out by Focus agency on a sample of 1,002 respondents between August 11-16, people are most satisfied with the performance of President Andrej Kiska (69 percent) from among Slovakia’s three most senior constitutional officials, TASR learnt on Thursday.

Conversely, 26 percent of all respondents were dissatisfied with Kiska’s activities while in the post.

Parliamentary Chairman Andrej Danko (SNS) followed Kiska in terms of perceived satisfactory performance on 51 percent, while Prime Minister Robert Fico was placed last on 36 percent. With respect to dissatisfaction, Danko and Fico recorded 35 and 60 percent, respectively.

Most content with Kiska were voters of main Opposition party Freedom and Solidarity/SaS (86 percent), followed by supporters of OLaNO-NOVA (79 percent) and We Are Family-Boris Kollar (77 percent). Meanwhile, the least content were voters of the far-right Kotleba-People’s Party Our Slovakia/LSNS (61 percent), non-voters (37 percent) and voters of the Slovak National Party/SNS (26 percent).

Meanwhile, SNS voters were the most satisfied with Danko’s performance (94 percent), followed by Smer-SD voters (86 percent) and those of Most-Hid (53 percent). Conversely, the least gratified were supporters of SaS (61 percent), LSNS (60 percent) and OLaNO-NOVA (60 percent).

Fico’s activities were appreciated the most by his own Smer-SD party voters (99 percent), followed by SNS voters (45 percent) and those of Most-Hid (32 percent). On the contrary, the most disgruntled in his case were OLaNO-NOVA voters (93 percent), followed by those of SaS (92 percent) and LSNS (90 percent).
