Poll: Bugar Most Trusted and Prochazka Least Trusted Party Leader

Bratislava, August 1 (TASR) – Bela Bugar of the governing coalition Most-Hid party is the most trustworthy leader among parliamentary political parties, while Radoslav Prochazka of the governing Siet (Network) is the least trustworthy, according to a telephone survey carried out by AKO agency between July 22-28 on a sample of 1,000 respondents.

Bugar enjoys the trust of 52 percent of the respondents (17 percent trust him absolutely, while 35 percent tend to trust him). He was followed by Slovak National Party (SNS) leader Andrej Danko with 50 percent (21 percent and 29 percent) and Smer-SD leader Robert Fico on 43 percent (20 percent and 23 percent).

Other party leaders recorded the following results – Richard Sulik of Freedom and Solidarity/SaS – 35 percent (9 percent and 26 percent), Igor Matovic of OLaNO-NOVA – 27 percent (6 percent and 21 percent) and Boris Kollar of We Are Family – 22 percent (4 percent and 18 percent).

Marian Kotleba of the far-right LSNS party enjoys the trust of 20 percent of respondents (7 percent and 13 percent). Only 14 percent of respondents trust Radoslav Prochazka of Siet (2 percent and 12 percent).

Prochazka was chosen as the least trustworthy politician in the survey, as 77 percent of respondents do not trust him (49 percent absolutely, while 28 percent tend to distrust him). Kotleba is untrustworthy for 75 percent (58 percent and 17 percent). He was followed by Kollar – 72 percent (45 percent and 27 percent), Matovic – 67 percent (44 percent and 23 percent) Sulik – 60 percent (32 percent and 28 percent), Fico – 54 percent (38 percent and 16 percent), Bugar – 45 percent (25 percent and 20 percent) and Danko – 38 percent (16 percent and 22 percent).
