Top Ice Hockey League in Slovakia Ended Prematurely

Zvolen, March 11 (TASR) – The top ice hockey league in Slovakia won’t complete the 2019/20 season, as Tipsport League officials decided to end it prematurely at their meeting in Zvolen on Wednesday.

They made the decision due to the spread of the coronavirus infection and with regards to Monday’s (March 9) decision by Slovakia’s central crisis management team to impose a preliminarily ban on the organisation of all sports events in the country for two weeks.
