At Least Two Killed in Bus and Lorry Crash near Banska Bystrica

Badin, April 23 (TASR) – At least two people were killed in a crash involving a bus and lorry on the R1 expressway near the village of Badin between Banska Bystrica and Zvolen (Banska Bystrica region) on Monday, TASR was told by spokesperson of the Firefighter and Rescue Corps (HaZZ) Zuzana Farkasova.

Almost 20 firefighters were dispatched to deal with the accident.

According to the HaZZ Facebook page, 13 people were injured, of whom three seriously.
“An HaZZ crisis intervention team and a medical emergency helicopter for transporting injured people are also on the scene,” wrote the HaZZ on Facebook.
